Water and Sanitation Working Group (WSWG)
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Working Group (WSWG) will be convened in order to support the overall humanitarian response to any humanitarian emergency in Timor Leste and to ensure that the provision of essential water and sanitation facilities and related hygiene promotion complements the efforts of all humanitarian actors. The WSWG assists the Government of Timor Leste and the UN Humanitarian Coordination Group to provide equitable humanitarian support to internally displaced people and others impacted by any humanitarian crisis in Timor Leste. The WSWG will also work within the framework of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) at the country level and will also report to the UN Humanitarian Coordination. |
